Memorial Day

Memorial Day 

1. Memorial day is a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered.

2. Memorial day is every year on the last Monday of May.

3. Some ways to show honor on memorial day could be                       

• Lay flowers or plant flags at your local Veterans cemetery.
• Fly the American Flag 
• Visit a military memorial, museum, or monument.

          

5. Something I will do on memorial day is watch the National Memorial Day Parade on television.

6. My thoughts on memorial day are that it is good that people celebrate this day and show respect for people who are in the army.
