Reflection: The quote "The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem." is saying that when you do the right thing you always get a reward it may not be money, a house, a car etc. but you do get something you get to feel good , you get to feel proud of yourself for doing something good, and that's the reward you get. When you hear this at first you may be like aw id rather have a car rather than feeling like a good person but once you get the feeling you won't be complaining anymore.
