Reflection: I think the quote"Associate yourself with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for 'tis better to be alone than in bad company." means that It is better to be around people that are good and a good influence rather than being around people who are a bad influence  to you. For example if you are hanging out with you friends and they decide to steal you are going to be with them so they will influence to do that. But if you were to hang out with friends who dont do bad stuff and are good people you will be like them. You need to be wise on the friends you choose because people usually become like their friends if they do bad things then you will do the bad things with them and if they do good things you will do the good things with them. This is why it is good to have good friends around you rather than bad friends.
